The Bookworm Club - the place to get social about reading

At the monthly meetings, we eat and talk about the books we read.  Then, everyone chooses a book they want to read for the next month. The sign-up for the books happens at the monthly meetings but students can also sign up anytime in the library.   This wiki also contains a discussion forum for the books.

Click on the "Book Groups" link below to see the list of current books being read.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page for directions on how to edit this wiki.  This will allow you to sign up for a group book and/or join the discussion.

Bookworm Club Officers

2009-2010 Officers:

President: Amanda Dunken

Club Mascot: Shanna Myers

Julie will appoint the President but Managers are a volunteer position.

The President  will be in charge of running club meetings.  (S)He will also set policy and establish club routines with the help of all members.  When the President is unavailable, a Manager will run the meeting.  The President must be able to communicate with the librarian outside of meetings.

Managers help Julie run the Wiki.  If you are interested in learning how to set up and run a Web 2.0 Graphic Designer application like wikis, this is a great opportunity to get some experience.

See Julie in the library if you are interested in being a club "wiki manager".!

Check Out Another Wiki! I figured that since I help keep this wiki "safe" it'd be okay to link to mine.

This blog post was absolutely fantastic. When I used to work in electroplating they sometimes encouraged us to write, but I could never come up with something as well written as that. http://www.theseowork.com
